💡 By bringing our attention to where those thoughts show up in our body, placing our attention to the sensation and fully feeling the emotion and energy within.

💡 This process allows the emotion and energy to finally be processed and expressed through the body, and the immediate impact is a lightness in the body and clearing of thoughts.

💡 My clients notice a dramatic shift in their thoughts from negative, worrying and self-critical, to more positive, optimistic and compassionate thoughts, which allows them to enjoy life a lot more and they find they have more energy to do the things they want to in life.

​It's so simple!

Typically, when we think of anxiety, we immediately think it’s something we deal with in the mind, which makes sense.

So, what people tend to do is try to ‘reframe’ their thoughts or ‘out-think’ themselves out of their anxiety, which leads to ruminating and creating even more stories.

Or, resort to something physical by numbing themselves with alcohol, social media, drugs, porn, sex etc.

I’ve learned anxious thoughts are created from an energy and emotion that is stuck in the body, as result of stress, overwhelming situations, trauma, childhood etc.

If you just address the thoughts, you may get some reprieve temporarily, but if the energy and emotion is still in the body, the thoughts will come back.

For example, it’s like when you injure your knee, and address just the knee, but the injury keeps reoccurring, because you failed to address the hip that is attached to the knee.

❗️Bottom line… Address what’s in the body, and the thoughts will clear.

If you want to free yourself from anxiety then stop looking at the thoughts and start processing the sensations and emotions in your body that are fuelling these disempowering stories.
